Salitos Beverages GmbH is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Miller Brands Germany/ MBG International premium brands, founded for the international sales and marketing activities for the SALITOS brand family, effect®, Three Sixty and Water Joe.
Since it was founded by the partners Andreas W. Herb and Peter Jürgens in 1993, Miller Brands Germany was able to develop into the most innovative Start-Up in the brewing trade.
The success story of our group started with the distribution of the Mexican beer Sol between 1993 and 1996. Until 1998, today's Miller Brands Germany GmbH was renamed p.o.s. marketing + vertrieb GmbH.
In 1996 we were able to win over the brand Miller Genuine Draft for the German market, which had not been sold on the German market until then. Miller Genuine Draft now belongs to the world's second largest brewer SAB/Miller. During the previous 6 years, we turned this international top brand into the unchallenged number 1 of the American beers within Germany.
In September 2000 we launched of our first own internationally registered brand - SALITOS Tequila Flavoured Beer. Since its launch, SALITOS Tequila Flavoured Beer has developed into the fastest-growing brand in the flavoured beer section worldwide.
In 2002, the SALITOS product family grew by the refreshing lager-ginger mix SALITOS GINGER ALE and the RTD with the taste of South American lime and lemon, SALITOS ICE. This product is available both as a malt based and a wine based version.
The year 2002 also saw the launch of effect® HIGH QUALITY ENERGY DRINK which has achieved a tremendous development, not only in Europe, but also internationally. The shooting star effect® is meanwhile available in a returnable 0,2 l glass bottle, 1 l PET bottle, 20 l postmix (bag in box) and premix.
In the beginning of 2005, MBG expanded its portfolio with THREE SIXTY VODKA, the first diamond filtrated high class premium vodka with 37,5 % Alc./ Vol. The product is available in a 0,7 l bottle, new packaging sizes (0,5 l and 1 l bottle) will be available shortly. The Three Sixty range also consists of an RTD in a long-necked 0,275 l bottle with an alcoholic content of 4,5 %/ Vol..
There is no sign of an end to the powerful and steady growth of the MBG group. It is our aim to continue offering unique and innovative products at competitive prices, to fulfill high quality standards and provide a reliable customer support and a wide information network.
